These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to Golden Guide on iOS, Android, and the web. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
The service
Golden Guide provides digital tools for daily reminders, schedules, wellness check-ins, Golden Moments wellbeing content, caregiver linking, emergency SOS helpers, and AI Find My Thing™. It is a consumer care companion — not a medical device and not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or emergency services.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate contact information and keep credentials secure
- You are responsible for activity under your account
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create safety risks

Caregiver links
Patients may invite caregivers. Caregivers must only use access for legitimate care support. Misuse of another person’s health or location data is prohibited.
Subscriptions & billing
- Free (Essential) and paid (Plus / Family) plans may be offered with different limits
- Paid plans may be billed monthly or annually via our web checkout or, when available, the App Store / Google Play
- Trials convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends, according to the store or checkout rules shown at purchase
- Refunds follow the payment platform’s policies (Apple, Google, or our web payment provider)
- We may change prices with notice where required by law; continued use after renewal constitutes acceptance where permitted
If you purchased through Apple, manage or cancel in your Apple ID Subscriptions settings. If through Google Play, manage in Play Subscriptions. Web purchases: use in-app Membership / Plans or contact support.goldenguide@gmail.com.
Acceptable use
- Do not abuse SOS or alerts to harass others
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content
- Do not attempt to break security, scrape, or reverse engineer the service except as allowed by law
- Do not use the service to provide regulated clinical care without appropriate licenses
Emergency & SOS disclaimer
SOS and caregiver alerts depend on network connectivity, device permissions, and caregiver availability. Always call local emergency services (e.g. 911 / 112) for life-threatening situations. Golden Guide cannot guarantee delivery of every alert.
AI features
Find My Thing and other AI features may be inaccurate. Verify results with your own senses and do not rely on them as the sole safety mechanism.
Intellectual property
The Golden Guide name, logos, and product design are ours or our licensors’. You retain rights to content you upload; you grant us a license to host and process it to operate the service.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
